Zines taught by Stacey B., inspired by many.

Self publishing with the copy machine, the laser printer, or the internet...

Spring 97 Zines, the 3rd iteration of 4 Zine classes I taught at New Vista High School in Boulder from 1994-1998.

-The year before we had a b&w Xerox machine right in the classroom! This had been generously donated by the regional Xerox folks, and made for an exciting, experimental experience.-

When the Spring '97 Zines class migrated to the lab (RM 115), we worked on more digitally driven processes for making zines: desktop publishing, and electronic image manipulation.
The fine tradition of cutting, and pasting lived on digitally. Some work was only output on laser print and published on paper, other pieces were *pixilated*.

This *pixilated* Project was the final assignment of the quarter for many students... 'lectronic Zines.
