Once a week
go to Associated
Press' Strange News on Excite and read through the Strange headlines.
- Pick
one news piece that you find particularly Absurd.
- Email
me with a link to the news article and explain why you chose this news
item as the most Absurd for the week.

Your Absurd Journal
On a daily basis jot
down one Absurd thing that you saw or experienced. Reflect on the origins
and repercussions if this Absurdity.
Each Friday, hold
your Absurd Journal to a mirror and read it in the reflection.

Your Absurd Product
At the end of this
Absurd Unit of Inquiry you will create Your Absurd Product. This product
will be created digitally, or created "in real life" and translated
into a digital format for publication.
Potential Products:
a comic strip series;
an animation;
an epic poem;
a series of unique art works;
a powerpoint presentation;
etc.
Remember, you will
be contracting on what Product you choose to create. This contract includes
a statement of Absurdity, a plan of action, a summary of content, and
a deadline for completion.
